Thank you for your interest in the Meeting of the Minds! Below are:

* General information on the Meeting of the Minds
* Directions to the Meeting of the Minds

The Meeting of the Minds, usually held once every few months on a Saturday evening, is a dinner and discussion organized by the local community of the Baha'i Faith. It is held at the home of Wendy and Grant Kvalheim, 4225 Province Line Road, Princeton NJ 08540. Below are directions to the Kvalheims'.

The format is: 6:30 dinner, 8:00 presentation and discussion; dessert and socializing afterwards. All are welcome, regardless of religious or non-religious belief.

Presentations by guest speakers are on subjects relating to both our personal lives and the larger society. Discussions are open for consultation on the subject of the evening. Attendees are invited to share his or her own views from personal perspectives. Our purpose is good fellowship, stimulating conversation, fruitful dialogue, and to learn from each other.  As Baha'is are non-political  we don't discuss partisan politics.

Attendance averages around 25-30 people, includes both Baha'is and non-Baha'is, and there are often first-time attendees.

There is no charge. You do not need to register beforehand. You do not need to bring a dinner dish. You are welcome to bring a dessert if you wish but this is not necessary.

Information on the next scheduled Meeting of the Minds will be posted above when available.

Below are directions to the Kvalheims'. If you use a GPS for directions, Google is the only one that has the correct location of the Kvalheims.

Route 1 South
After exit 9 of the NJ Turnpike, travel about 25 minutes total on Rt #1 South.
You will pass Princeton Forrestal Village, pass Harrison Street, pass exits for Alexander Road. Two lights after Alexander Road, look for large green sign—Province Line Road. Take this exit. At first light after exit, turn left onto Province Line Road. You will tavel a few miles. Pass through two lights. After the second light, (you are still on Province Line Road) you will see Bristol Meyer Squibb on left, then Jasna Polana Golf Course on right, then a downhill zig zag in the road. After the zag, count three mailboxes on the right. We are the third mailbox. The number is 4225.

Take Route 95 going North from Philadelphia.
After Route 95 turns into Route 295 South, take exit to Route 206N toward Princeton. Travel a few miles, pass Carter Road. Turn left at next light .This is Province Line Road. (Next follow Directions* below).

From Princeton:
A) At Elm Road, turn onto Rosedale going away from Princeton. Travel @ 3 miles. At the end of a long white horse fence, turn left onto Province Line Road. Travel ¼ mile until you see a “sharp curve in the road” sign. Directly across from it turn left into the driveway. The Mailbox and Post says 4225 Province Line.
Or
B)Take 206 out of Princeton toward Lawrenceville. About 3 miles from town, turn right onto Province Line Road (just after Peterson’s Nursery on left). Travel 1.5 miles to our driveway but keep in mind the following:

Directions*
(You are getting close. These points are important. If you pay attention, you will arrive quickly; if you do not, you will be lost a long time and you will not get a prize for being a good direction follower.)

• Pass these landmarks:

Bristol Meyers Squibb,

Jasna Polana Golf Course,
Small incline after “sharp curve in road” sign

• From the bottom of the incline, when the road is curving left, count three mailboxes on the right. Turn into the driveway at the third mailbox. There are two stone pillars, an open gate and a low belgian block wall and the lighted number 4225 on the left pillar. You cannot see the house from the road.

• Drive a long way down the driveway, past two big buildings, past the separate garage around the far side, and park in the circular area amid the trees or in the paved circle of the house. This is actually the front door. See you there! Come in without knocking.

Do not follow the mailbox numbers. They are not in order.

If you are using a GPS, the house location is close to 4595 Province Line Road.

Google Maps has the correct location.
